Anthropologists study all aspects of the lives and history of humans. Archaeologists reconstruct past human lifeways through the study of cultural remains. Cultural anthropologists study the lifeways of present-day people in different cultures around the world, living with the people they study in order to develop an understanding of how they live and think. Anthropological linguistics explore the origin and diversity of human languages. Physical anthropologists study biological variation and the evolution of humans and the other primates.
