Family Medicine Complex
This new building will house both the Family Medicine Center and the Geriatric Clinic. The Program of the building will include faculty and staff offices, exam rooms, clinic support spaces, teaching rooms, and the required building support functions. The project will also include landscape work, parking lot construction, and campus utility distribution work that will be needed to support the operation of the building. The estimated size of the building will be 117,185 square feet and the estimated cost of $46.8 million will include design, construction, FFE, and owner reserves.

Brody Building Roof Replacement
The roof sections are divided up into five areas which total approximately 12,000 Sq. Ft. A complete tear off of the existing roofing and insulation down to the vapor barrier will be required. The vapor barrier is to be repaired or replaced if needed. Light weight concrete insulation with positive drainage is to be installed. Address masonry wall flashing were required. The new membrane is to be a three ply system with a modified bitumen cap sheet. The roof system will have a twenty-five year material warranty and a two year contractor's warranty.

Bate Building Roof Replacement
The Bate Building is located on the core campus at East Carolina University. The existing system is a three ply built up roof system that was installed in 1985. The system is showing signs of age with deteriorating felts and blisters. Several areas have been patched to stop leaks. The new roof will be light weight insulated concrete system designed to give proper drainage of the roof. The existing vapor barrier will be inspected during roof tear off and repaired or replaced. The new membrane will be a three ply system with a modified bitumen cap sheet. The roof system will have a twenty-five year material warranty and a two year contractor's warranty.

Messick and McGinnis Buildings Window Replacement
Messick and McGinnis are adjacent buildings located on the core campus at East Carolina University. The buildings date back to 1927 and 1951 respectively and have the original wood, single Glazed windows and caulking. They are in poor condition. The design is for installing new windows with some operable section, thermal break frames and insulated glass with low E rating

Howell Science HVAC Upgrades Package B

All Temporary utilities from previous phase and this contract must be removed followed by new roof installation. Building will be occupied during entire project duration.
