The Religion Program is a nonsectarian and interdisciplinary program designed to provide students with an understanding of the religions of the world as historical and cultural phenomena. Programs neither exclude nor promote any religious tradition or viewpoint. The courses offered explore religion in its various dimensions -- aesthetic, anthropological, ethical, historical, literary, philosophical, political, psychological, and sociological. Students may earn a Major, a Minor, or a Double Major in Religion.
