[Complete Story] ECU Professional Acting Graduate Stars in Two Daytime TV Serials The East Carolina University School of Theatre & Dance recently announced that 2006 professional acting graduate, Rob Bradford, is starring in One Life To Live on March 13th and As the World Turns on March 28th. We congratulate Rob on his success! Chamber Singers Release Recording on New Label The East Carolina University Chamber Singers, under the direction of Dr. Daniel Bara, have released a new recording of classical English works. The album, Greater Love, was recorded in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Greenville, NC. A highlight of this album is the use of the Fisk organ, played by Janette Fishell, Distinguished Professor of Organ and Sacred Music at East Carolina and the organist and director of music at St. Paul’s. The pieces featured on this album are all English works, and include such masterpieces for choir as Britten’s “Rejoice in the Lamb,” Ireland’s “Greater Love Hath No Man,” and Howell’s “Requiem.” The East Carolina Chamber Singers is the most selective vocal ensemble in the School of Music, and features the voices of both undergraduate and graduate students. Greater Love is the first recording completed by the Chamber Singers on the Gothic Music label. More information on this album can be found at www.gothic-catalog.com. (story by Laura K. Huhn, class of 2009) New 2007 of REVUE now available The annual magazine of the College of Fine Arts and Communication, REVUE, is available in print and to download (3.2 MB). |
