Quitting smoking is one of the most effective ways to improve or preserve your health.  While there are now fewer deaths from heart disease and cancer, deaths from smoking-related lung disease are rising!  Emphysema and chronic bronchitis, which fall under the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) umbrella, are the two main smoking-related diseases.

ECU Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine is offering this 8-week program for those who want to quit smoking.  We will discuss smoking, cravings, and learn healthy substitutions and various methods to help you through the process.
