Mrs. Kim Floyd's primary research areas include autism, assistive technology in early childhood settings, and sensory integration. She teams with other departments across campus for collaborative research projects and classroom instruction. In addition to teaching courses, Mrs. Floyd serves as the Director of Revolving Education Around Partnerships (REAP), an inclusive developmental day program housed through the College of Education. Ms. Floyd also holds a strong interest for the inclusion of children with disabilities within their school environments which is evidenced in the numerous Kids On The Block performances the REAP puppet troupe provides to students of Pitt County and East Carolina University.
