The Academic Advising Center for the College of Health & Human Performance offers many ways to provide the help that you need. We hold large meetings for the whole college, we hold smaller group meetings for certain majors and we offer individual appointments. Provided for you are some important links and resources to aid in the registration process.    

The advising process starts early in the semester.The Office of the Registrar posts a listing of available classes for the upcoming semester about 7-8 weeks into the semester in which you are currently enrolled. Classes may be viewed by going to OneStop and clicking on "Banner Self Service".  You should acquire a check sheet for your particular intended major so you can keep up with what classes you have taken and those you need to move toward declaring your major.  Once you know what you need to take, or you need help deciding what to take, schedule an appointment with the advising center to discuss your selection, and to obtain your registration code.    

With Banner replacing the current operating system for the university, changes to how you register are going to be taking place this year. Registration for summer of 2007 will take place online using the onestop and opal browser. The same way you have been registering online in the past. Registration for Fall of 2007 will also take place online, but it will be a combination of onestop and Banner. The process is going to be simple and self explanatory, but guidance on how to register using the Banner operating system will be available through the advisors at the Advising Center. When you come in for advising your advisor will help make sure that you are able to register online. Phone registration and terminal registration will no longer be available once Banner is in place.
