You Can Come Home Again!!

I am thrilled to be back at East Carolina University and Greenville…..my home.  In all my travels since leaving Greenville, my goal was to get back here as soon as possible.  Well, fifteen years later, I’ve made it!  You just don’t know how excited it is to be back with my friends, family, my mentors, great role models and those that are most important to us….our students.

I have a vested interest in promoting the successes and future of the College of Health and Human Performance.  Both of my degrees are from the College.  My undergraduate degree (BS, 1980) is from the Recreation and Leisure Studies area, while my graduate degree (MAEd, 1982) is in the Exercise and Sports Science field.  I am proud to be an alumnus from East Carolina University, and especially the College of Health and Human Performance.

My role here is to promote our excellent academic programs and professional programs to the alumni, supporters and friends of the College.  My goal is to energize our alumni base by building relationships with those that may have “lost their way” over the years.  I want to introduce our excellent faculty, staff and students to not only our alumni, but those supporters and friends of our College that are interested in what we do. I want to show them that the College of Health and Human Performance has made a significant impact on both professional careers and personal lives.  Their assistance, whether in serving on alumni boards, volunteering for various programs, or monetary contributions, is important; as they compliment the state dollars we receive and assist our funding of student scholarships, facilities, and academic programming.

So YOU can come home again…like me…..and help the College of Health and Human Performance continue to achieve excellent results and reach their full potential.  I would love to hear from you.  Please feel free to contact me if you have questions, comments or just want to reconnect.

Thank you,
