East Carolina University The College of Health and Human Performance 2007-2008 Centennial Juried ART CONTEST
Artists may submit one entry in one of two age-related categories (submission to both categories is prohibited): youth (ages 14 to 17) or adult (age 18 and older). East Carolina University faculty and staff are not eligible for participation.
Guidelines for the artwork:
Format size of original art: 22” X 30”
Submit only original artwork that has been created by you, the artist, as identified on the submission form; no part of any artistic rendering that is submitted can be copied or adapted from another source or be copyrighted.
All artwork must be one-dimensional (flat) and can be rendered in a variety of media such as acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel, pencil, charcoal, or mixed media.
The artwork must be able to be rolled and placed in a mailing tube in the event the artist’s submission is selected as a finalist.
All winning entries will become the property of the College.

Submit a digital photograph of the original art. Do not send the original artwork itself.

Finalists’ submissions:
All finalists will be notified and requested to mail their original artwork in a mailing tube.
Mailed artwork must be insured for a minimum of $1,000.
Submissions will be judged on artistic merit and the effectiveness with which the artist reflects the mission and activities of the College of Health and Human Performance.
