The Biomechanics Laboratory (1800 sq ft) is a state-of-the-art laboratory with five primary data collection systems. The Laboratory has two AMTI force platforms that are used in a level walk/run way, a stairway, and an inclined ramp. They can also be used in conjunction with a leg press machine and a PlyoPower Squat Exercise machine. The Laboratory has both video (cameras and Peak Performance system) and electronic (Qualisys) motion capture systems. The Laboratory also has two Noraxon telemetric EMG systems and a KinCom isokinetic dynamometer. The Laboratory has numerous related peripheral electronics and computers. There is office and meeting space within the laboratory for graduate students and faculty.
