The Center publishes a monthly newsletter called PERSPECTIVE, which provides articles on both national and North Carolina substance abuse prevention issues. It also includes training information and a variety of information in the FYI section. Readers can access the newsletter either on-line or by mail. Please contact Bonnie Cowan to be placed on the PERSPECTIVE mailing list. The Center releases its annual publication of every spring, highlighting the Community Prevention Mini-Grant funded programs and a specific substance abuse prevention topic. In 2002 "Making a World of Difference...One Community at a Time" included a section on Youth Violence Prevention with resource information and available funding opportunities for programs focusing on youth violence prevention.
