| Ordering | ECU has created a new process that requires East Campus users to log into the university network. Until logged in, users cannot access the Internet, e-mail or instant messaging. Coined “Connect2ECU” Student - if you have your “Student Computing Essentials CD” (given to all resident hall students) you can install using it. OR if you try to access a web page, or connect to the network in the dorms it will start automatically. See instruction and information at “Connect2ECU” for steps to follow It will require Symantec Antivirus –be installed and updated (this is free software to students) It will require that all your Windows critical updates are installed Installing will halt if your system does not meet all the minimum requirements. You will then need to do all your updates and the run the clean agent again. |
