Core Server (Instructional Materials)
These servers provide space for faculty to host Web-based classroom materials. One of the servers is designated for hosting and streaming Windows Media content. To gain access to this space - go to
help.ecu.edu >> Click Submit Request >> Software request forms are in the left menu.

Instructional Technology Consultants
An important function of the ITCs is to serve as a liaison between faculty in their units and other entities and resources on campus, such as Information Technology and Computing Services (ITCS), the University Multimedia Center, or knowledgeable personnel in other units.
OneStop (login required)
Faculty and Staff Resources found in the OneStop include: Direct Deposit Notices, Class Rosters, Grade Submission, Advisee Listings, Change of Address, just to name a few.
Opscan
All placement tests, bypass tests, regular tests, Student Surveys and other NSC bubble sheets can now be processed in the Austin building room 103.
Passphrase Maintenance
You will be required to change your passphrase (password) before logging into any of our systems. Visit pirateid.ecu.edu or the PID icon on the ECU home page and enter your Pirate ID. Users can manage their own passphrases (passwords) by registering on-line.

Software Listing and Resources
ITCS has developed a list of software that will meet a wide range of the university's computing needs. The majority of the software packages and applications have specific computing consultants and teams assigned to provide support; however, it is not possible to adequately test and support ALL software available.
Smart Classrooms
Smart Classrooms are classrooms, auditoriums, or conference rooms that have been equipped with items like: LCD Projectors, Document Cameras, SMART Sympodiums and other tools to enhance teaching, learning, and collaboration.
Walk-in IT Help Desk
The Walk-in IT Help Desk (formerly TechRC) is a central location for faculty and staff to receive walk-in one-on-one IT consulting support and access to technology resources. The center is a collaborative effort between several IT organizations across campus and staffed with very knowledgeable consultants with a broad range of expertise.
Training Opportunities
Several options are available to the ECU community. Users can benefit from a collection of resources offered by ITCS, including training on personal computers, mobile devices and a variety of software applications. Faculty and staff can search and register for regularly scheduled training through the ECU OneStop.
