What Statistical Software does ECU offer?
ECU offers several types of statistical software to help you with your research and classes.

Get Started
Faculty
SAS, JMP/SAS, SPSS, and NVIVO are available for free to faculty and staff. Software like AutoCAD ($70) and Mathematica ($40) are available to faculty and staff for the annual fees listed. All software requests require you to fill out a consent form, providing the needed information to get access to download the software (SPSS) or check out a CD(s) for install. Please fill out forms and submit a request at:

or contact the Walk-in IT Help Desk (formerly TechRC) in Austin 103.

Students
Students can have SAS, JMP/SAS, SPSS, NVIVO and Mathematica at no cost. For AutoCAD, contact the Dowdy Student Stores. All software requests require you to fill out a consent form, providing the needed information to get access to download the software (SPSS) or check out a CD(s) for the other software installs. Please fill out forms and submit a request at:

Labs
Check the listing of labs at http://www.ecu.edu/cs-itcs/studentcomputerlabs to find out which labs have statistical research software installed on their computers.

Note: 
SPSS 15 is compatible with PCs; SPSS 11 is compatible with Macs
SAS 9.1.3 is NOT compatible with Vista
NVIVO is compatible with PCs only
Mathematica is compatible with all platforms
