Make a Request using the NEW ILLiad interface!

We are proud to release a completely new ILLiad interface! See below for a list of new features; then go ahead and give the NEW ILLiad a try! If you want, you may even begin placing requests in the NEW ILLiad. 

Since this is a BETA, meaning testing, release, we eagerly seek your input so we can make further enhancements before the full launch over the summer. So, once you've tried the NEW ILLiad, help us improve it by telling us know what you like, don't like, find confusing, and really want by taking our survey. Your comments will inform how the interface changes.

NEW DESIGN:

• The main menu is now sleek and always available on the left side of the screen.
  
• Your requests and their current statuses are immediately displayed when you login.
  
• A new search function allows you to quickly find any ILLiad request--old or current--you have ever made.
• The tabular display of requests allows you to easily copy/paste citation info into Excel, Word, or any other program.
  
• You can undelete electronic delivery items if you should delete it and want it back.
• The interface uses CSS and is more ADA compliant.
  

NEW WAYS TO STAY INFORMED:

• You can subscribe to a RSS feed for your ILLiad account so you'll know when we have a question for you and when items have arrived or are due.
• The new Notifications feature saves all emails from ILLiad to you and makes them available to you to review in ILLiad.
  
• With Alerts, ILL staff will keep you informed with relevant ILL-related announcements: when we'll be closed, changes to services, when training will be offered, new library resources,etc. 
  

NEW REQUEST FORMS:

• Request forms are easier to read and complete.
• Distance Education patrons and Educator Card Schools now have customized Main Menu screens with new request forms tailored to their needs.
  
• Search tools have been added to the request forms. Simply enter the title in the request form and click on the button. The search will run automatically. If you find what you want, you won't have to submit the request! If the library doesn't have what you want available, you'll have  information to copy/paste into the request form.

NEW HELP:

• Short online video tutorials are being created to explain ILL and the new ILLiad interface!
• Links to help are being placed throughout ILLiad where you need it.
  

NEW FEEDBACK:

• Use the new Comment Box e-mail form to share your suggestions, complaints, and praise with us. We'll improve ILLiad and the services of ILL with your feedback!
