iPod and Equipment Loan

The Music Library purchased new stereos, iPods and microphones! Record your gigs and practice sessions to analyze later. Burn your tracks to a CD and send them off to other schools, friends, family or potential employers. Use in your lessons to evaluate your students’ problems, your teaching technique or simply remember an interesting discussion. The possibilities are endless, so come in and check them out!

The following types of equipment are loaned:

• Sony X-plod Stereo with CD/cassette playback and line-in for external audio sources (2)
• iLive Stereo with CD playback, iPod dock, line-in for external audio, and line-out for iPod video (2)
• Sony stereo microphone (can be used with X-plod Stereo or your own equipment)
• 30g Video iPod formatted for Windows with stereo microphone
• 30g Video iPod formatted for OSX with stereo microphone
• Sharp cassette recorder/player (2)
• Laptops (in-library use only)

The nitty-gritty:
ECU students, faculty, and staff can check out iPods, stereos, and other equipment for 12 hours.  If this borrower period extends past the Music Library’s business hours, the equipment must be returned no later than one hour after opening on the next day the Music Library is open.  For more details, see the Music Library's Computing and Audiovisual Services page, which includes loan agreements for each type of equipment.
