Teaching Resources Center Enhancing Teachers' Classrooms (ETC) Room

The ETC Room is located on the second floor of Joyner Library in the Teaching Resources Center, and is available for use when the TRC service desk is open. The room is designed to assist pre-service teachers and eastern North Carolina educators in the creation and preparation of materials used in lesson units, classrooms, and presentations. Staff is available to assist patrons with any equipment operations in the room. 

The ETC Room contains the following equipment:

• 25" Laminator
• Artwaxer
• Badge-A-Minit button maker and cutter
• Light Box
• Ellison Die-Cut Center with over 600 patterns.  For a list of available die patterns, click here to visit the TRC's Die Library on Ellison.com.  Use the following Die Library ID and password to access the patterns:

The room also houses computer workstations with scanners and access to a color printer. Educational software available in the room includes: Button Builder, Calendar Creator, Kid Pix, PrintShop Deluxe, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia FreeHand, Art Explosion, Essential Teacher Tools, GraphicMaster, Mapmakers Toolkit, Timeliner, and Math Type.
