AmeriCorps/ECU Project HEART is recruiting ECU students to serve as tutors for at-risk students, grades 3-12, in Pitt County schools. Members of Project HEART commit to tutoring 20 hours per week for one year. During the time members serve actively, they will receive a $5,398 living allowance paid in bimonthly installments. Upon successful completion of 901 hours of service, members are eligible for a $2,363 educational award.
